The Rabbit Ears stands above a high mountain pass (el. 9426 ft.) straddling the continental divide in the Rocky Mountains of northern Colorado. The formation also gives its name to Rabbit Ears Peak, a mountain that can be seen from both the headwaters of the Atlantic and the upper basin of the Pacific.
